New Sponsor!

I am glad to have the opportunity to fly blades from Czech company MS Composit! I can say only good things about them :) Precise, aggressive but easy on the engine :) I appreciate that a lot since I have not yet found the best ballance between cyclic and collective.. True, in a bit of wind slightly nervous in forward flight but that's expectable with the length of 620mm. Satisfaction and I think that is what counts ;)

New Baby In The Light Of The Earth :)

After the great event in Trutnov I decided to get a new baby.. I simply could not resist... So there goes my new X50 Titan!!

Built in one day.. that's what happens if you have enough eagerness ;)

And so it goes... Trutnov Heli Meeting 2011

A week after the GHM me and Phillip we went to Trutnov to meet some more heli freaks :)
The weather was a dream! Sun, warm, a bit of wind..
First after arrival we met with Martin MadBox Bednar, excellent heli pilot :) but to watch all the great pilots fly made us a bit frustrated.. With shaking hands and knees I took my Raptor on the stage.. Well, that's how one feels when he thinks, he can fly :D After couple of minutes of struggling with these obviously not fitting blades for me I handed her over to Pavel Kefurt who was also in Trutnov for the meeting. I would have never imagined that something like this is possible with a standart Raptor! Slow Tic tocs, low piroflips, hard push outs.. anything you could possibly find in a heli book!!

Later afternoon I got to talk to Stepan Skorpil (nickname Krtek) and we spent the whole time talking and working on my Vibe which had troubles with fine tuning. Couple of more flights followed including my Vibe and also Phillip flew great and smooth!

In the evening we had a beer and unfortunately because of me feeling sick (I blame the sun for it) we had to go to the pension so we missed the night flights :(

At last I want to thank the great organisation, awesome flying show by all the present pilots and a lot of fun!!

The next year again! Yeah!

German Heli Masters Augsburg 2011

Hey!

Finally I got to write about things that happened in the past couple of months..

It started one September Saturday, exactly the 10th. I and my dad were heading Augsburg.. Well, that was actually my first Heli Event ever! Excitement? YES! It was an awesome and hot day.. The place was crowded with people and HELIS! :) FreakWare, Holonatix, Torsion Blades, Thunder Tiger, BeastX etc.
 We were first walking around and I had a little chat with Petr Novotny at the Torsion Blades stand. There I met Pavel Kefurt, the Team pilot Thunder Tiger Int. and his dad, Petr Kefurt.. From then on we have been talking about a lot of stuff regarding heli flying and I learned a lot of new stuff and met a lot of people :) I got to talk with the Manager of Thunder Tiger Europe Jörk Hennek.
Of course I can't leave out the actual flying site. What else to say than awesome flights, breath-taking smackdown in hands of Pavel and outstanding atmosphere.. Too bad I could not stay there through the next day but next year I sure will do :)

A lot new and no time to write... ashamed..

Hello! The summer has almost left us behind and a lot of stuff happened.. I will post all the news in a short while together with pictures :) Let the fun begin :)

Moving on!

Hey all,
after the exchange of the paddles on my Raptor, I have become more confident in my inverted skills and did some paddle grass cutting :)

I tried some backwards flying and completed one circle :) I sttill have to work on it a lot.. I try to fly everyday mostly very early in the morning and later in the evening.. :)

My heli family got bigger :) I got full equipped JR Vibe 90SG!!! :) very cool machine!! Unfortunately I have flown it only once half tank so far :( But looking forward to flying her as much as possible!!

My baby gets new upgrade

My Rappy has got a new upgrade :) Greenies :) Hopefully I will be happy with them on the next flight..

Click clack there goes inverted..

For long time I have dreamed about hovering inverted.. I tried couple of times on the sim but never really worked as I would want it to be.. I tried in real too.. Could keep it inverted for some seconds and as my eagerness grew the hover time got longer and longer.. I had no problems with roll but nick and rudder gave me a hard time, with every rudder input I made a pitch "mistake"...

All of a sudden I found myself hovering low enough to take my breath and nerves.. After that the famous last words followed: "Did you see that???!!! Lets try it again!"

My controls are getting better and better with training, also tried couple of pirouettes :) COOL FEELING!!!
I thank to my love Phillip for incredible patience, lessons and shots :)

"Testing" new blades

I have got new blades for my Raptor, Torsion Blades 600mm Solid... Very light (about 128g), quick response and reactions, cool looks provided by checkerboard structure, very good price. For me yet too light but love their aggressive behaviour :)

I did not want to believe that "Bigger is Better" that my friend tried to explain me but finally I have changed my opinion ;)

Welcome two new entries - Synergy N9 from Dubai and Raptor 90SE from Prague originally owned by Petr Novotny :)

Maiden flights went more than well. Unfortunately I could not get used to any of them when they one by one "exploded" in the air... Probably linkage error... What a pity :(

I am missing them both greatly...

"Finally" all helis with crash experience..

Last weekend after work I finally got some flying with my 50.. with the sunset on my right I flew nice wingovers, loops, rolls, flips.. after about 7min of flying I recovered from a roll and all of a sudden the Raptor stopped responding and 3 seconds after I heard (and my heart also felt :() the impact..

The poor Raptor was running full power until  I was there... Reason? Reciever akku empty... Result? Couple of crashed parts... Luckily we got some spares and actually upgrades so the most expensive part will be the blades..

But I can't wait till I see my bird in the air again!

Finally I can show you mine and my boyfriend's current fleet :) Mine is the Raptor 50, T-Rex 500 ESP and one of the T-Rex 250s.. 

I will be hopefully able to give some more info about my progress ;)
